Robert Lukesch, born 1955 in Vienna, living on a small organic farm in Eastern Styria, is working since 1984 in local and regional development, development co-operation and organizational development. From 1989 on he works with the ÖAR Regionalberatung GmbH, since 1997 as an associate partner. His scope of activities includes shaping and evaluation of European rural development and Structural Funds programmes, policy advice, and leadership coaching. He led and participated in a number of European LEADER and RD evaluations. He has also been involved in European civil society initiatives, starting from the first Agricultural Convention, the Convention for Sustainable Urban and Rural Development in Europe (CURE) up to the Agricultural and Rural Convention (ARC).
