Claiming Our Future

The centenary of the Easter Rising in Ireland has led to flurry of declarations regarding the future from schools to academics. Our colleague Filippo Strati recommends a particular manifesto which is in line with the principles of sustainable development as stated at least since the 1992 Rio UN Declaration (visit: http://www.claimingourfuture.ie/).(external link)

Lead story

New LDnet website

We have created a new LDnet site(external link) (cache) for greater clarity and ease of navigation. It should also be easier for members and friends to contribute. We are now busy exporting the content of the old site and adding new content so the site is still ‘work in progress’. But one can always access the full content of this wiki site via the new site. (The wiki site will not be updated beyond September 2016).

What is LDnet?

LDnet is an informal network set up in 2011 to bring together knowledge and people in local development.
